As the director of the Therese Brain Clinic, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our office!

The Therese cranial nerve and headache clinic was established to treat and manage care of the brain in a new, modern establishment. We strive to take a holistic view towards patient care, which is particularly important for those over 70 years of age. At Therese, patients requiring treatment or follow-up after stroke or surgery will be treated with the utmost respect and care. As an expert in diagnosing and treating headaches, I will seek to improve patient well-being through medical care. At our technologically advanced clinic, we can check cerebrovascular abnormalities with cerebrovascular 3D CT Scanners, which helps us quickly identify dangerous headaches. In the event that serious brain disease is detected, I can provide adequate advice and explanation from experience gained through many surgical treatments.

The clinic name "Therese" is derived from the Catholic Saint Teresa, patron saint of headaches and bodily illness. Teresa cherished the small things in everyday life, recognizing that their power could be vast. Mother Theresa took her name from Saint Theresa, and went on to work tirelessly for socially vulnerable populations. At our clinic, we strive to make the same effort to treat our patients.

I will perform sincere medical treatment with all my heart to the patient in a face to face setting. In order to conduct high-quality medical treatment there may occasionally be wait times, but rest assured I am making the strongest effort to meet the needs of the patient. I would like to grow with my patients as a clinic to protect the health of all.

I received a Doctor of Medicine from Showa University School of Medicine specializing in Neurosurgery. I studied under the supervision of Professor Kazuya Nagata, a high-ranking neurosurgeon at NTT East Kanto Hospital, now Professor of Neurosurgery, Nippon Medical School. Under Professor Akio Morita, he learned a number of methods to perform surgery. He moved to Ebara Hospital, Tokyo Metropolitan Healthcare Authority in Ota Ward from 1997 and has been a Director of Neurosurgical Center for Stroke for 11 years, treating conditions such as subarachnoid hemorrhage, unruptured cerebral aneurysm, Moyamoya disease, and carotid artery stenosis.
