Pediatric Head Injury
In our hospital we can perform CT scans on pediatric patients to determine the proper course of action. Not all patients are strong candidates for a CT - The judgment criteria as to whether you should be referred to a larger organization are when 1) vomiting is severe, or 2) the patient's complexion is poor. In other cases it is possible to conduct a consultation at our hospital. The clinic explains to families about appropriate treatment and attention points after a head injury, taking advantage of our years of experience examining many pediatric patients in emergency medicine.
